We both think weddings are fantastic! When we first started out, we only covered weddings and they still remain at the core of our business because we enjoy them so much.
They’re a great occasion to get all of the family together and celebrate. Throughout the day there are lots of emotions that come through in the photographs that we take, and with our ‘hands off’ approach, lots of natural images. We keep the group shots and posed photographs to an absolute minimum whenever possible. We believe the best way to cover such an important day is to blend into the background and simply capture the day.
Throughout our time as a wedding photography ‘team’ we’ve learnt what works and what doesn’t. We know where we each will be, and the angle that is being covered, which helps us to get to best possible shots. As there are two of us, we can also easily cover both the bride and groom’s preperation before the wedding. We believe we have a good idea of what people want to see in their final prints, but also cater for any special requests that you might have.
All of the technical stuff is well and good, but at the core of what we do and how we work, we are centred around you and your partner and what is important to you. You won’t notice us scoping out the best vantage points for your photos, days ahead of your wedding. You won’t notice how we know exactly how to pose you to look your best, and you won’t notice how we natually judge how the light falls at a given time of day to get the most flattering results.
You won’t notice because we’ll take care of these things and leave you to enjoy your day.

With all of our packages, we include a few things as standard. We appreciate that your spending a great deal of money on your photography packages and so we don’t believe in leaving you with just a CD at the end of one of the most significant days of your lives.

Having two photographers at your wedding gives you twice as much choice. We have our own independent styles which, because we’ve worked together so long, compliment each other and give you a great selection of both contemporary and traditional styles. You may also feel more comfortable with a photographer of a specific gender in some situations so we’ve also got this covered. It also means we can get through the ‘photography’ segment of the day quicker and let you get on with enjoying yourselves.
We love hearing our couples’ ideas for their wedding. If you have an idea that you want us to do then just let us know, we’ll even help making it extra special.
Making our couples comfortable is something which is very important to us. We work in a relaxed way and will put you at ease so you can
take as long as you need to compose yourself for photos. You’ll also meet us in advance of the wedding and so have got to know us by then. On the day, you’ll be looking your best and feeling fantastic. Leave it to us to capture these moments – you won’t even notice us.
We visit the wedding venues in advance of the ceremony and will find locations which are suitable should it rain. We also have a few tricks up our sleeves for other photos we can try.
We have several sample albums and can show these to you in person. We don’t have a full album online as we like to keep our couples albums special and unique to them.
